Roto-Rooter Integrity Awards Winner Of The Better Business Bureo



The employees here at Roto-Rooter are proud of recieveing the 2004, 2007 Eclipse Integrity Award and the 2006 runner up for the Eclipse Integrity Award. Our employees strive to provide the best in customer service. It is a great honor to be singled out amoung other equally great companies for our commitment to ethics, honesty and integrity.

The BBB's Eclipse Integrity Awards are given to four businesses and a nonprofit each year that surpass others in the marketplace with their adherence to a strict moral, ethical code. They are about ethics, honesty and trust. They are Dayton's Oscars.

The Better Business Bureau will honor four Miami Valley businesses and one nonprofit organization at this prestigious event for their demonstration of outstanding ethics, integrity and honesty.

The 2007 Eclipse Integrity Award finalists are AIDS Resource Center Ohio; Alternate Solutions HomeCare; Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm; Bathroom Alternatives, Inc., dba Bath Fitter of Western Ohio and Eastern Indiana; Daybreak; Designed Solutions Group, Inc.; Evans Title Agency, Inc.; Horizon Payroll Services, Inc.; Motoman, Inc.; Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service of Dayton; Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc.; Shiver Security Systems, Inc. dba Sonitrol of SW Ohio; South Dayton Urological Associates, Inc.; and, Universal 1 Credit Union.

Five Students of Integrity will also be honored for high moral character, leadership and ethics. The 2007 winners are Melissa Heft, Versailles High School; Jason Pennington, Meadowdale High School; Megan Pierce, Ridgeville Christian High School; Raghuram Vellanki, Springfield North High School; and, Mitchell Westwood, Valley View High School. Each of the winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship to a college of his or her choice. "The Better Business Bureau is proud to honor these exceptional organizations and individuals," says Donna Childs, CAE, BBB president and CEO. "They’ve set a benchmark for all of us to follow."

BBB Announces The 2004 Eclipse Integrity Awards Finalists

The Better Business Bureau announces today the Eclipse Integrity Awards finalists. The BBB's Eclipse Integrity Awards are presented to Miami Valley organizations that exemplify ethics, honesty and integrity. These awards are equivalent to being the Dayton area's Oscars. The winners are the shining stars of our community and they will be announced May 18 at the eleventh annual Eclipse Integrity Awards dinner.

The Integrity Eclipse Awards finalists include A-Abel Exterminating, Co.; Brady Ware; The Children's Medical Center; Davidson Garage, LTD; Greater Dayton Construction Group, Inc.; Grismer Tire Co.; Hillcrest Hearing Aids; KeyBank; Mousaian Oriental Rugs; Requarth Lumber Co.; The Reynolds and Reynolds Company; and, Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service. The Nonprofit Eclipse Integrity Awards finalists include Artemis Center for Alternatives to Domestic Violence; Girl Scouts of Buckeye Trails Council; and, YWCA Dayton.

There are five award categories. There are four size categories for business entries: 1-20 employees, 21-50 employees, 51-100 employees and over 100 employees. In addition, there is a separate category for nonprofits.

Donna Childs, CAE, BBB President and CEO, says, "Business integrity is so important in today's marketplace, whether it's demonstrated in our employee, customer or community relations. It's exciting to recognize the businesses in our community that demonstrate integrity so well day in and day out. They are the role models for all of us in business. The Eclipse Integrity Awards judges reviewed a record number of 53 excellent completed entries from over 230 nominations to determine the winners. It was a tough task, but you'll see the winners deserve this prestigious honor."

Join the Better Business Bureau in honoring these organizations by attending the Eclipse Integrity Awards dinner on Tuesday, May 18 at Dayton's new Schuster Performing Arts Center.
